Comprehensive Dog Training Programs

How do I work

Individual training, built around you and your dog.

Every dog — and every household — is different. That’s why I work 1:1, creating a practical training plan around your dog, your goals and your everyday life. Sessions are online and flexible, and wherever possible I involve the whole family, so everyone understands the dog, communicates consistently and knows what to do between sessions.

Puppy foundations

Give your puppy the best possible start.

From preparing for their arrival to building the skills they will need for everyday life, Puppy Foundations helps you create good habits early and avoid many common problems before they become established.

We can work on:

  • Choosing the right dog or puppy for your household
  • Preparing your home and family
  • Settling in and building confidence
  • Toilet training
  • Puppy biting and chewing
  • Socialisation and habituation
  • Alone-time and independence training
  • Essential everyday cues
  • Recall foundations
  • Handling for grooming and vet visits
  • Meeting children, dogs and new environments
  • Building calmness, focus and good habits from the start

Behaviour Reset

Understand what is driving the behaviour — then change the pattern.

For dogs whose behaviour is making everyday life difficult, stressful or unpredictable. Rather than simply suppressing the behaviour, we look at why it is happening and build a structured plan to teach safer, more appropriate responses.

Suitable for:

  • Barking
  • Reactivity
  • Fear and anxiety
  • Frustration and over-arousal
  • Growling
  • Resource guarding
  • Destructive chewing
  • Difficulties around people or other dogs
  • Over-excitement
  • Safety concerns within the household
  • Behaviour that has become difficult to manage

You will learn how to recognise triggers, understand your dog’s communication and respond before situations escalate.

Good Manners

Everyday skills that make life together easier.

Good Manners is for dogs of any age who need stronger everyday skills, clearer boundaries or more reliable responses in real-life situations.

We can work on:

  • Loose-lead walking
  • Recall
  • Settling and switching off
  • Calm greetings
  • Jumping up
  • Leave it and drop
  • Impulse control
  • Essential cues
  • Focus around distractions
  • Polite behaviour around people and children
  • Calmness around dogs and other animals
  • Building reliability outside the home

The goal is not perfect obedience in a training session — it is behaviour you can rely on in everyday life.

Topics may include:

  • Understanding canine body language

  • How dogs learn
  • Understanding needs versus wants

  • Helping a rescue dog settle and decompress
  • Introducing a new dog into the household
  • Multi-dog household challenges
  • Addressing a specific concern
  • Reviewing existing training
  • Training materials and practical next steps

You will leave with a clearer understanding of what is happening and a practical plan for what to do next.
